The EMEP/MSC-W model version 5.5, based on the version used on the EMEP status reporting of the year 2024 - is released, together with a set of input data and a full year model results for the year 2018 under GPL license v3.

This release contains the following set of information:

• a complete set of input data to allow for model runs for year 2018
• the open source model code of the EMEP/MSC-W model version 5.5
• model results for the year 2018 for comparison of a successful run

Retrieve datasets using the catalog tool with:

catalog.py -R 5.5

Note that the meteorological files require almost 100 Gb. To retrieve other files, e.g. input data alone, see:

catalog.py -h
