TIMES-Ireland Model - The model version used to generate scenarios for 3rd iteration for CBWG

3rd iteration of carbon budget scenarios for CCAC CBWG

This model version was used to generate carbon budget and WEM/WAM scenarios for CCAC CBWG. For result tables, check our results portal
It includes the updated industry sector with different temperature levels for process heat.

Updates:

• Calibration to the latest energy balances
• Car sales calibrated up to date data
• Updated wind and solar PV utilisation factors
• Better representation of power storage technologies
• Bioenergy potentials updated with downgrade in import potentials
• Myopic runs feature added as a scenario file
• Longer time horizon (2070, 2100)
• Numerical scaling issues partially fixed
