Requirements

pysiral is based on the python 2.7 distribution until version 0.7.3 and on python 3.9+ for higher versions (tested until python 3.13). In addition it depends on several additional packages (see requirements.txt)

The distribution of pysiral is based on python packages that can be installed with pip are released on GitHub 'releases' page.
