Release v0.2

Release v0.2 of the open-tyndp repository includes the following new features:

• Introduce TYNDP offshore wind hubs topology with both electric and hydrogen infrastructure, offshore electrolysers, and detailed wind farm characteristics (https://github.com/open-energy-transition/open-tyndp/pull/54).
• Add processing and preparation of TYNDP 2024 PECD v3.1 renewable profiles, replacing default ERA5-based profiles processed with Atlite (https://github.com/open-energy-transition/open-tyndp/pull/53).
• Add TYNDP hydrogen import potentials and corridors from outside of the modelled countries (https://github.com/open-energy-transition/open-tyndp/pull/36).
• Add the TYNDP electricity demand as an exogenously set demand (https://github.com/open-energy-transition/open-tyndp/pull/14).
• Add a dedicated Open-TYDNP documentation website (https://github.com/open-energy-transition/open-tyndp/pull/80).

Open-TYNDP - v0.1

Release v0.1 of the open-tyndp repository aims to capture all developments leading up to the first Open-TYNDP workshop in April 2025. Notably, this includes:

• Introduce a new electricity base network using TYNDP 2024 electricity reference grid data (https://github.com/open-energy-transition/open-tyndp/pull/18).
• Added option to use the TYNDP H2 topology including the TYNDP H2 reference grid, H2 Z1 and Z2 setup, production, reconversion and storage technologies (https://github.com/open-energy-transition/open-tyndp/pull/17).
