This branch is based on the DALES development version of 2024-09,
and mainly adds statistics routines for output requested in this intercomparison.

DALES - DALES 4.4.2

Official release of DALES version 4.4.2

Added statistics and settings needed for RCE-MIP experiments, and cold pool detection quantities (Rochetin et al, JAMES 2021). Faster thermodynamics routine (enable by setting PHYSICS/lfast_thermo = .true.). Optimizations, especially for single precision. Some bug fixes.

DALES - v4.3 for Cloud Botany on Fugaku

The version of DALES used on Fugaku for the Cloud Botany dataset.

Adds support for the Fujitsu compiler for running on Fugaku, and several optimizations to version 4.3:

• single precision support
• better vectorization
• faster thermodynamics

Most of these changes have subsequently been merged into the official v4.4 release.
