Recent Releases of Multiscale Solar Water Heating
Multiscale Solar Water Heating - Publication with The Journal of Open Source Software (JOSS)
This release features a version of the MSWH software and documentation created through a peer-review process facilitated by The Journal of Open Source Software (JOSS). We introduce the following new features in this release:
- The JOSS paper
- Simplified installation instructions on the README
- Detailed installation instructions to the API documentation
- Future Applications - Statement of Need and Approach to Component and System Modeling and Simulation sections of the documentation
- Contributing guidelines
- An example notebook featuring an additional climate zone
- Fixes to various typos and improvements to markdown text and titles in the notebook examples

Multiscale Solar Water Heating - First release
This is an initial release of the MSWH software. The intended usages are through:
- Django framework
- Jupyter notebook
- Reuse individual component models/assemble new system models
- Embed in larger scale analysis
