Power Monitor - Power Monitor 1.2.0
Changes
A new Power Graph window has been added. This allows the measured values to be graphically displayed and evaluated in more detail.
- Values can be pinned by just clicking into the graph.
- The graph can be freely zoomed and scrolled.
App now includes a journal function that can be used to store and evaluate power consumption over a longer period of time.
- The journal (or individual entries) can be exported as a CSV or JSON file.
- Journal entries can be automatically deleted after a period of time specified by the user.
- Journal entries can be deleted manually at any time.
- The journal function must be explicitly activated by the user.
Times when the Mac takes a Power Nap can now be excluded to avoid skewing the statistics.
Support for the Electricity Maps API has been updated.
Added new command-line arguments to make it easier to read power data and to allow access to journal data (e.g. using an extension attribute for a Jamf Pro server).
Power Monitor 1.2.0 has been tested and verified to run on the following OS versions:
- macOS 14.5.0

Power Monitor - Power Monitor 1.1.1
Changes
- Added the ability to toggle between all measurements and today’s measurements.
- Capture and display times when the Mac takes a Power Nap.
- Users can now choose between displaying the power consumption or the electricity costs.
- Hovering the mouse pointer over the graph now displays the measured power value and timestamp at that point in the graph.
- Users can now delete all measurements directly from the application.
- Power Nap can now be enabled and disabled directly in the application.
- Clicking on the maximum power now displays the corresponding measurement in the graph.
- Intervals during which the Mac is in sleep mode or powered off can now be displayed.
- Log entries related to sleep/wake events can now be displayed in the application’s new console window. Clicking on a measurement in the graph selects the log entry prior to the measurement. This will help users to determine the reasons for dark wakes.
- Processes preventing sleep can be displayed.
- App can be set to launch at login.
