repository for the wind turbine power curve archive.\n\nThe intention of this repositiory is to provide power curves and key data for commonly used turbine models in industry the R\u0026D community. \n\n    \n## Structure\nTabular power (and thrust when available) curve data is stored in the following folders:\n- Distributed Wind Turbines\n- Offshore Wind Turbines\n- Onshore Wind Turbines\n\nHere you can find .csv files with the following turbine data:\n1. Power curve\n2. Thrust curve (when available)\n3. Cp curve (when available)\n4. Ct curve (when available)\n\n## Documentation\nEach turbine included in the repository is documented in detail:\nhttps://natlabrockies.github.io/turbine-models/\n\nThe name of the turbine on the .csv file with tabular data should match up with a corresponding documentation page.\n\n## Installing via pip\n\nTo use the turbine-models data library and helpers in your project, we now support pip installations, so projects\ncan be configured correctly and still use this data set.\n\n```bash\npip install turbine-models\n```\n\n## Installing from Source\n1. Using Git, navigate to a local target directory and clone repository:\n\n    ```bash\n    git clone https://github.com/NatLabRockies/turbine-models.git\n    ```\n\n2. Navigate to `turbine-models`\n\n    ```bash\n    cd turbine-models\n    ```\n\n3. Create a new virtual environment and change to it. Using Conda and naming it `turb_lib`:\n\n    ```bash\n    conda create --name turb_lib python=3.11 -y\n    conda activate turb_lib\n    ```\n\n4. Install turbine-models and its dependencies:\n    - for general use:\n\n        ```bash\n        pip install .\n        ```\n\n    - for general use and running examples:\n\n        ```bash\n        pip install \".[examples]\"\n        ```\n    \n    - for development dependencies and running tests.
