The core functionality includes:\r\n\r\n- overview of 61 publicly available wildlife re-identification datasets and 3 metadatasets.\r\n- utilities to mass download and convert them into a unified format and fix some wrong labels.\r\n- used in synergy with [WildlifeTools](https://github.com/WildlifeDatasets/wildlife-tools) to train our models [MegaDescriptor](https://wildlifedatasets.github.io/wildlife-tools/megadescriptor/) and [WildFusion](https://wildlifedatasets.github.io/wildlife-tools/wildfusion/).\r\n\r\nAn introductory example is provided in a [Jupyter notebook](notebooks/introduction.ipynb).
