The core functionality includes:\r\n\r\n- overview of 53 publicly available wildlife re-identification datasets and 3 metadatasets.\r\n- utilities to mass download and convert them into a unified format and fix some wrong labels.\r\n- used for training our models [MegaDescriptor](./megadescriptor.md) and [WildFusion](./wildfusion.md).\r\n- synergy with [WildlifeTools](https://github.com/WildlifeDatasets/wildlife-tools) used for training ML models.\r\n\r\nAn introductory example is provided in a [Jupyter notebook](notebooks/introduction.ipynb).
